Netflix x Samsung

To ignite global buzz and conversation around Stranger Things Season 4 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra's Nightography feature, BBH USA turned the smartphone feature into a gateway to the extraordinary world of darkness. Evoking the cinematic quality of the hit series, the film follows a young girl and her friends on a seemingly innocent night ride, accidentally capturing the Upside Down that's lurking just beyond.

The Business Problem

With both the forth season of Stranger Things and the Galaxy S22 Ultra already in-market, Netflix and Samsung needed a way to reignite excitement behind the two properties: getting people on the edge of their seats for the next drop of episodes, and helping them experience the wonder of S22's lowlight photography anew to maintain sales.

The Zag

Rather than focusing on the faithful realism you can achieve with Samsung's low light photography, we leaned into the unknowns of the world of darkness.

The Solution

We brought both global phenomena together, positioning Nightography as a gateway into an extraordinary world of darkness: the Upside Down.
