Dating in a Pandemic: you’d be forgiven for thinking it’d be pretty bleak. But whilst some of us may have picked up crochet, the Tinder India community wasn’t about to let a global lockdown get in the way of connection and fun.

The Problem

Scared of rejection, getting over an ex, fear of intimacy... all common barriers to dating. But how about a global pandemic putting the world into lockdown for an excuse not to call them back?

The Solution

“The pools were closed so we sat in giant inflatable toys on a rooftop instead.”

One thing’s for sure, the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ pandemic stories were going to be interesting...

So we let the Tinder community come up with the ‘creative’ and created a music video, to an original track by Indian-American singer Raja Kumari, that told stories of some of the ingenious ways they’d found to keep dating, safely.

The film tells the real-life stories of couples figuring out dating in a new world from VR headset dates to screen-projected first encounters.
