Bio:
Liverpool born, bred and proud, Gregor joined BBH at the end of 2015 as a Strategy Director on Tesco. From here, he took on challenges posed by Barclays and Western Union before being promoted to joint Chief Strategy Officer in June 2020. Under Gregor’s leadership, BBH is currently the reigning IPA Effectiveness Agency of the Year, a title held for four years, and is ranked by WARC as the most effective agency in Europe.
Prior to joining BBH, he began his career as an Account Manager at digital and direct agency Claydon Heeley in 2006. He cut his teeth on Mercedes-Benz and Invesco Perpetual before eventually making the transition into Planning, working on 3Mobile. After a stint at digital outfit Weapon7, Gregor joined integrated agency VCCP in 2010 where he spent 6 years working initially on Burton’s Biscuits and then picking up AEG Europe, Fitness First, Which?, BetVictor and First Utility. From 2012-2015 he ran strategy on the O2 account.
Gregor’s commitment to delivering against BBH’s mantra of ‘our objective is effectiveness, our strategy is creativity’ ensures the agency’s work is relentlessly rooted in insight that drives both sales and culture. He currently sits on the APG Council, is an IPA Judge, and contributor/speaker to a range of events and publications from AdWeek and Business Insider to Radio4 and the Labour Party Conference.
