The Summary

BBH seeks a energetic, solutions-oriented CRM Account Director to take responsibility for all facets of the assigned clients and their business, setting the standard for the day-to-day. Our ideal CRM Account Director is a true doer and leader that demonstrates passion in all that they do. An entrepreneur, the CRM Account Director will be a partner and a driver of growth for their clients’ businesses and BBH’s with a focus is on driving our clients’ business and brand by delivering inspiring, groundbreaking marketing solutions from strategy to in-market execution for their clients. The CRM Account Director will be seen as a key relationship holder and integrator by the client’s at a director level.

Key Responsibilities

• Passionately defends, grows and manages client(s) with revenue in the $5+ million range
• Responsible for business leadership and marketing plan content development and for leading the agency through an understanding of client marketing and business context.
• Serve as Agency champion to pull integrated activities together for moving the client’s business through production to launch.

• Possesses a superior understanding of clients’ business issues, marketing, industry, competitors, and brands uses these insights to help clients to articulate their needs, and the agency to propose groundbreaking solutions.
• Communicate powerfully, credibly, and engender trust with executive clients.
• Easily build rapport with others.
• Be constantly attuned to the evolving needs of the client.
• Lead on behalf of clients.
• Deeply engage in development of account team direct reports.

• Lead all marketing aspects of plan development and partner with strategic leadership to create innovative ways to impact client business results in all disciplines.
• Act as your client’s investment manager and treat their budgets as if they are your own, looking for marketing effectiveness and efficiencies at every turn.
• Persuasively drive new client recommendations.
• Sell important work to key accounts and executives.
• Understands the role new media, digital and technology platforms within the clients marketing mix.
• Inspire clients and agency to new platform solutions.
• Continually inspire teams to generate new ideas and evolve existing programs.
• Constantly consulted by other team members for problem solving and your personal point of view.

• Oversee solution and/or campaign development stages to ensure the work meets client expectations and further development opportunities are realized through the process.
• Add critical insights during major creative concept reviews and provides direction on how to ‘expand’ the brief and solution for further development.
• Attend creative presentations on major campaigns, and play a major role in selling the work.
• Merchandise the performance of the work through the client organization to provide future development opportunities.
• Possess an eagle-eye for detail and ensures that all client deliverables reflect the highest standards with zero room for error.

• Consistently deliver on revenue and margin targets.
• Identify organic growth opportunities and lead development plans.
• Closely monitor and improve the financial health of account(s).
• Consider all financial implications of business decisions, and chooses solutions that grow the agency’s bottom line.
• Manage with CFO and Business Director contractual relationships and fee negotiations, and monitors contract compliance.

Skills / Experience Required

At least 10 years in a client-facing agency role with experience working on B2B and/or Financial Services accounts.
• Familiarity with the digital, mobile, direct and the general evolving CRM marketing landscape – a working knowledge of Salesforce and Adobe suite is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in an integrated manner and understand the importance of on and offline channels and think about the total connected experience for our key audience.
• Proficient in the use of Google Office – a plus.
• Proven ability to lead heavily staffed accounts, as well as maximize productivity of more skeletal teams.
• History of identifying problems or opportunities and taking the lead in solving them.
• Skilled at presenting ideas clearly, and with confidence.
• A bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
