The Summary

BBH NY is seeking an Associate Account Manager to provide a key supporting role to the Account Management team on various accounts while learning and developing all skill-sets. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, motivated, curious, and always willing to help; a constant presence who can keep the team calm, focused and accountable for client & agency success.

This Associate Account Manager must be someone who enjoys problem solving, has a high EQ as well as someone who is keen to contribute to culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead smaller scale projects with minimal oversight

Ensure every meeting is prepped and executed flawlessly, anticipate internal and Client needs

Manage budget, billing, job number creation and travel

Responsible for weekly project status reports with internal team, clients and partner agencies

Work closely with PM to keep track of all projects and speak up when something seems off with PM and supervisor

Traffic final work, save assets and presentations on the server

Manage all deliverables and update internal team, clients and partner agencies of key dates / deadlines; flag when timing is in jeopardy

Ensure legal and network clearance reviews happen at the appropriate moments

Establish core relationships with internal team, junior clients and partner agencies

Know when to escalate potential problems with supervisor

Set up meetings with the correct people and agenda, distribute thorough and actionable meeting notes consistently

Update team on industry/competitive news

Lead competitive audits with support from strategy

Demonstrate that you are trustworthy and dependable

Be part of, and help to strengthen, agency culture

Qualifications

At least 1-2 years of work experience in Account Management

Demonstrated basic understanding and thoughtful POV on Marketing and Advertising

Experience in traditional mediums. Digital & social experience a huge plus.

Ideally has worked on large clients or multiple clients at once, managing multiple projects
