Cancerfonden – The Swedish Cancer Society – approached Monterosa with the challenge of digitizing their new communications concept “NEJ” (NO) and develop a new website. We quickly identified that Cancerfonden needed a fresh digital strategy to make all parts of Cancerfonden’s work (funding research, driving opinion and educating around prevention) more accessible to the audience.
The strategy landed recommendations in three key areas:
- Lower barriers to make it easier for people to engage
- Utilize storytelling to encompass both emotional and rational messaging
- Build a community to make everyone involved feel part of something bigger
What we created were new reasons and possibilities to engage, but what we really achieved was making each and everyone a part of telling the story and the fight against cancer. All in six months!
