Bio:

Karen Martin is lauded as one of the most energetic and progressive industry leaders of her generation. After becoming CEO of BBH in 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic, she led the agency to step up as a strong supportive partner to clients, communities and its people. Karen was named Campaign’s Agency Leader of the Year 2021.

Before BBH, Karen spent 14 years in Australia’s ad industry. She was Managing Director of Host Sydney where she ran the agency’s largest account, Bankwest, and won and ran Pizza Hut and Lion Beverages. Prior to Host, Karen worked at BMF (B&T’s Australian Agency of the Decade) as a key member of its Account Management team. In her time over there, she developed some of the most awarded work in the category.

She champions the mental health, wellbeing, growth and professional development of the team at BBH, alongside delivering market-leading effectiveness for clients. Karen’s stellar stewardship through the toughest of market conditions resulted in BBH winning the Marketing Week Masters Agency of the Year and IPA Effectiveness Company of the Year in 2020.

Bio:

Alex started his career at BBH where he worked for 14 years creating award-winning work for Levi's, Axe, Audi & Barnardo's to name a few.

In 2022 he returned to his alma mater as Global & London Chief Creative Officer. Prior to that he was CCO at AMV BBDO where for 3 consecutive years he was ranked the No.1 CCO in the UK by WARC. He's also been ranked the No.1 Creative Director in the world at Cannes Lions. Under his leadership AMV won ten Cannes Grand Prixs (including Titanium & Glass), three D&AD Black Pencils and in 2021 achieved an industry first by winning 'The Treble': Global Agency of the Year at Cannes, D&AD and the One Show. In addition, AMV won over 30 Agency of the Year awards at regional and international shows.

In his spare time he likes to don lycra and cycle up mountains at an embarrassingly slow pace.

Bio:

Helen joined BBH London in June 2021, coming from the BBC’s in-house creative agency where she was responsible for overseeing all of the broadcaster’s creative output. She is the creative driving force behind our recent work for clients such as Ribena, Netflix and Wild.

Helen steered BBC Creative through the pandemic, communicating the value of the BBC’s public service and reaching new audiences. Some of her highlights include the multi-award winning special-build for Dracula; setting ‘fire’ to OOH posters to promote David Attenborough’s Perfect Planet and the Tokyo Olympics 2020 campaign.

Prior to the BBC, Helen spent six years at Wieden+Kennedy Portland, during which time she helped to guide the agency to its position as both AdWeek and Ad Age Agency of the Year.

Helen is passionate about crafting ideas that are embedded into culture, such as the immersive online exhibition she created for 'I May Destroy You', a zine with The Face and a claymation music video for rock band Portugal. The Man.

Bio:

Will has been BBH’s Joint Chief Strategy Officers since 2020 after being Head of Strategy from 2015. During that time BBH became the IPA's Effectiveness Agency of The Year 2018-2022 and WARC’s Most Effective Agency in the UK and Europe 2022.

The strategies he’s led on Audi, helped create over £2bn of incremental revenue and returned the brand to no.1 on desire and technology perceptions. This won advertising’s most prestigious IPA Grand Prix award in 2018 and Cannes Effectiveness prize in 2019 and IPA Gold for Long-Term Thinking in 2020. Will also heads up BBH’s Brand Experience team.

Before BBH, Will worked at Anomaly and Digital Agency of the Decade, Dare, and studied Experimental Psychology at Bristol.

Bio:

Liverpool born, bred and proud, Gregor joined BBH at the end of 2015 as a Strategy Director on Tesco. From here, he took on challenges posed by Barclays and Western Union before being promoted to joint Chief Strategy Officer in June 2020. Under Gregor’s leadership, BBH is currently the reigning IPA Effectiveness Agency of the Year, a title held for four years, and is ranked by WARC as the most effective agency in Europe.

Prior to joining BBH, he began his career as an Account Manager at digital and direct agency Claydon Heeley in 2006. He cut his teeth on Mercedes-Benz and Invesco Perpetual before eventually making the transition into Planning, working on 3Mobile. After a stint at digital outfit Weapon7, Gregor joined integrated agency VCCP in 2010 where he spent 6 years working initially on Burton’s Biscuits and then picking up AEG Europe, Fitness First, Which?, BetVictor and First Utility. From 2012-2015 he ran strategy on the O2 account.

Gregor’s commitment to delivering against BBH’s mantra of ‘our objective is effectiveness, our strategy is creativity’ ensures the agency’s work is relentlessly rooted in insight that drives both sales and culture. He currently sits on the APG Council, is an IPA Judge, and contributor/speaker to a range of events and publications from AdWeek and Business Insider to Radio4 and the Labour Party Conference.

Bio:

Holly joined BBH in 2015 to help drive the transformation of Tesco; Britain’s biggest retailer. Under her watch, BBH helped Tesco create culture-shaping work that drove record profits and won the 2020 IPA Effectiveness Grand Prix.

Next, Holly worked with Tesco to launch a mobile proposition that is now second only to EE. In 2022, she was promoted to Managing Director overseeing business development with a razor-sharp focus on driving exceptional work and results for clients.

Holly is passionate about cultivating a culture at BBH that sets the stage for people to do the best work of their careers and is committed to building back differently post-covid, with a focus on flexibility, empathy and efficiency. She is a driver of BBH's commitment to grow and celebrate difference across the agency with platforms and initiatives like The Barn, Differently Does It and Female Mentoring.

Bio:

Stephen Ledger-Lomas joined BBH in 2018 having held previous production leadership roles at Mother London, David James Associates, Winkreative, Art+Commerce and Dazed / Nowness. Stephen leads the agency’s multi-skilled production offering.

He is focused on maintaining BBH's excellence in production craft, improving BBH’s ability to deliver against multi-channel briefs, broadening the diversity of production talent, and further developing and expanding Black Sheep Studios: BBH's in-house production company.
