Research found that people often find it difficult to tell their fathers how they really feel about them. Only 35% of dads get celebrated on Father’s Day and they get £18 less spent on them. We created a “Tannoy Takeover” film to help dads feel the love. As each individual unsuspecting father went about their usual supermarket visit in specific Tesco stores, the tannoy systems began to play some pre-recorded messages of appreciation from their children. Their reactions of surprise, delight and genuine emotion were all captured on film.
